I bought this yesterday in preparation for new baby in a few weeks - tried it our last night and doesnt seem so accurate..anyone noticed any problems with one?
We also use room thermometers in our house but not this brand. Basically any good digital thermometer will do, best if they also have a reading for humidity. Try Oregon scientific or something similar but make sure you use the same brand/model for different locations. That way you know the temp/humidity are all the same range. Different brands do give slightly different readings.
Oregon Scientific has worked great for us. As alcheng mentions these are hardly scientific level instruments so you will see some variation between brands.
