there was a really yummy recipe in south china morn post sunday magazine yesterday (13 Aug) - chicken/cucumber/sesame paste recipe? i just need to know what was in the sesame paste? can anyone help? looked so yummy and so quick to make.

sesame paste is made from sesame seeds. does that help ?

Lucky you! 60g chinese sesame paste (no tahini) 1-2 garlic gloves finely minced 15ml regular soy sauce 15ml light soy sauce few drops of runny honey 10ml rice-wine vinegar 10ml chinese semae oil Enjoy!

YOu can use tahini with this sauce. I make a similar one and put it over cooked buckwheat noodles as a salad. My recipe also has strong black tea in it.

Ruth at Clifford and hkfrenchie do have the recipe how to make tahini paste? Can't find it in Bangkok supermarkets :(
