S-Cable problems

I am trying to watch downloaded programmes from my laptop to the TV via an S-Cable. Basically the the screen continues to say that there is no S-Cable source. I have rebooted the lap top, pwered of the TV etc but no luck. Anyone have any ideas?

Are you using ATI or Nvidia, with ATI you need to open up your ATI Control Panel and drag the tv to second screen and select stretch or new screen any of the options. on Nvidia you must set to multiple screens and select TV and thats it.

If you dont do that the screen wont be activated.
