I understand this may now be obsolete but does anyone know where I can get an 512SDRAM for my Fujitsu lifebook?

I guess that firstly we need to know just how far you are prepared to travel to acquire these RAM, and then .... just where is your "starting point"!

I could suggest several places not too far from where I live - but I doubt very much that you'd consider it worthwhile to travel from {say} Sheung Shui to HK Island when someone else already knows of a "hole in the wall" shop in Taipo that might satisfy your quest [If your abode really was Sheung Shui]. <Grin>.

We really ain't clairvoyants you know.

Not really bothered about distance since i drive almost everywhere from Sai Kung. Would appreciate an address and shop name.

Well, you could try Sun Cheong Electronics in Apliu Street SSPo - **NOT** open on Sundays. I saw that they had RAM there.

Or try the many "secondhand/recycling" shops in Computer 298 [Hennessy Road] near EASTERN junct of Johnston Rd & Hennessy Rd. Sundays is also a bit of a no-no there too. Few shops open then, & weekdays they open late in the afternoon. >15:00 is best.....

I'd suggest you take along your Laptop for an "in situ" test of the RAM for compatability before paying.

**FORGET** the Wanchai MTR computer Plaza - that's a bit "up-market" and I've not seen secondhand RAM there.

First choice - 'cos there is much more choice - 298 !
