Portable DVD - Long Battery Life

I am trying to find a portable DVD player that has a long battery life - i.e. at least 6 hours. The only one I have been able to find at Fortress is about a 2 hour battery life.

Are there DVD players with at least a 6 hour battery life? If so, where can I buy one (preferably in Central) and about how much does it cost?

2 hours? That sounds surprisingly short for any player. Our Sony has about 6-8 hours. We have tested it in real world conditions. It was USD 180 in the US.

Around Central you could look at Foresoon (corner of Wing Lok and Des Voeux Rd Central), the two stores in Pacific Place...

Wing Lok Street in Sheung Wan. So it's the corner of Wing Lok Street and Des Voeux Road Central.

Thanks - any particular shop you would recommend, and any hints on how much we can (if we can) bargain with them.

And yes, the Fortress sales clerk said 2 hours - and we would be lucky to even get that.

Well, on Wing Lok street I would recommend Foresoon. I think they have portable DVD players. Otherwise I would say dive for the Wan Chai Computer Centre (Wan Chai MTR) and look around.

Bargaining in HK is not what it used to be. You usually get 10% off if you ask, and an additional 3% off if you pay cash or EPS instead of CC.
