Dell XPS M1530 laptop Posted by veva71 (167 days ago) Could anyone give me an estimate price for a Dell XPS M1530 laptop? I'm not yet in Guangzhou so i was wondering if I should wait till I get there to buy it or just get one from New Zealand. Here the price is $1899 which is the equivalent of 9962RMB. (I am based in Unspecified) Posted by evildeeds (163 days ago) Dell pretty much only sell via the internet or phone, although they now have a couple of stores in HK where they will take an order. They only sell direct, you may find some of the smaller electronic retailers have some Dell models but they will be imports with very limited warranties. Certainly better to shop in HK, there is no sales tax on the laptops whereas in China you pay a sales tax. This can make IT products in China extremely expensive. Couldn't give you and exact example of sales tax as it varies so widely in China but I believe it's something like 25%, but of course could be way out there. (I am based in Hong Kong) |
