Watch DVD on my PC

How can I watch DVD format on my pc? I recorded something with my DVD recorder off my TV and want to watch on my PC. Any clues?

You'll need a player that can handle it. VLC can handle most formats. I believe also DVDs. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

media player classic far superior to VLC, VLC is moody over some file extensions, the former has not spit a single thing up that I have thrown at it. Power DVD if you are just playing a DVD though is my reccomendation.

Intervideo WinDVD or other bundled DVD players that come with the PC will work fine. Just make sure you "finalize" the burned DVD on the recorder or else it won't play in any other players.
